They had activities for the residents even though my mother couldn't participate. This facility is terrible because of its staff and lack of management review. For our family member who was vision impaired with mobility issues, the staff would just drop her food off in the room and say they would be back to help her as much as 45 minutes later. Staff is lacking and under scheduled most of the time.

These people are in the final stages of their lives and they should be treated with respect. This facility is beautiful and the staff is amazing! The therapy department does a FANTASTIC job and got my loved one back on her feet right away! A+++ GMA said food was good, especially the fried fish. I visit my grandmother at this facility everyday. Everyone is always happy and friendly as soon as I walk in the door.
Be careful walking down the hall not to slip in all the puddles of water.They were giving my husband the incorrect amount of meds., they don’t ask questions, just give what’s on the orders. Some of the CNAs were ill informed about my husbands issues and thought he could walk. HE IS AN AMPUTEE. He was scared to stay there and I could not stay due to covid crap. I know they were short handed, but to wait and hour to get help to go to the bathroom. Royal Park provides daily activities, social events and weekly trip out in the community.

If you care about your loved one do not put them in this facility. Patients are dieing left and right from neglect it’s so sad. This facility needs to be shut down and the administrator is racist.
The nursing home is beautiful, clean, well-kept up, and doesn't smell. The aides and the attendants are very expedient in the cleanup. You smell nothing, and it doesn't even smell like a nursing home. The housekeeping does not clean the rooms and oh the bathrooms, they don’t even scrub the toilet for days on end.
I did tell them I was going to be at the beach and they moved her while was at the beach. I didn't like the way it was handled and they did not follow protocol. They didn't call the nurse on staff, and instead they called a social worker. I called the director to let him know how it was dealt with, and I couldn’t be more impressed with him.
They say they will do the patients laundry but now twice I have told them her dirty clothes have been there over a week. They said she refused dinner when I was sitting in the room with my mom. Nope she did not and thank goodness she has snacks because she did not get dinner at all even when she asked about it.

There is a 30 to 40 minutes wait when care buttons are pushed. They want to keep the residents in the bed if they have mobility issues.
